A poem by me.
Titled.
While you where sleeping.
While you where sleeping, you where unaware.
While you where sleeping, the world fell in dispare.
The world fell into chaos, while you where deep asleep.
The world fell all to shambles, while you where off your feet.
Destruction all abound, in some form or another.
Destruction all around, while you slept deeply undercover.
Zombies did arise, from the ground all moist and rotten.
Eating on the living, by that which they’ve forgotten.
A comet streeking in, which turns the world to ash.
Leaving few survivors, that likely will not last.
Maybe it’s an invasion, by other worldly types.
Who want to take our resources and do so without a fight.
It could be just that time, when nature goes awry.
The earths dire decision for humanities demise.
Or possibly it’s the old ones, making the return.
Driving each of us all crazy, devouring those whom do not turn.
Something else could possibly happen, involving a computer mind.
Who would rather see the end of us before it’s end of line.
No matter what will happen, it will happen over night.
You’ll wake up to discover something horrible, a godly aweful sight.
I hope that you remember before you go to bed.
That today may be your last day, before something ends you dead.
