The things an abusive partner/parent will say have long lasting affects, and it’s designed to keep you off balance and confused and fearful.
I believe therapy helps…
So does learning to do a realty check, and discard any space they were taking up in your head….
Yes, easier said than done, and entirely possible.
There is sanity and recovery from this.
