I can’t express how often this sentence was said when people have told me the stories of their trauma at the hands of an abusive partner.

How does someone “look” like a nice guy?

Never ever go on that whole “looking like a nice guy” bit…..it means next to nothing.

How someone IS is based on how they ARE…their actions and behavior.

If someone is contemptuous and nasty to servers, coworkers, family…..PAY ATTENTION.

I 100% agree with Derrick….this song nails the “up all night looping about stuff alone and anxiety ridden result of depression…” insomnia is weird…when everyone else is sleeping in my little hamlet, I’m swimming around obsessing…
