I don’t usually throw a post out for celebrity birthdays… But when I do it’s for the very best actors from one of the greatest films of all time… Ever.. Rutger Haur, 71 today.

This brief but powerful monologue that he wrote himself showed that as an actor he could immerse himself fully into even the most complex character and convey what they would feel as they faced their final moments.
