I am Carcharodon carcharias, and among the largest of the mackerel sharks.
I am torpedo shaped, and sexah.
It takes me about 26 years to reach sexual maturity and the females of our species don’t start reproducing until about 33 years of age…..so, we really need to LIVE a while before we can make babehs.
Please don’t keel us.
We are majestic and fintastic and keep the oceans we all need healthy and top notch.

Shark fact: sharks have taste buds inside their mouths but not on our ‘tongues’….
Taste buds are not located on the basihyal, but on the papillae lining the mouth and throat of the shark. Taste buds help the sharkdecide if the prey item is suitable to eat prior to swallowing the item. All sharks have a tongue-like structure called a basihyal.
